A large unblemished, high-lustre single Spodumene var. Kunzite crystal double-terminated point - of nearly 16 cm / 6 and 1/4 inches tall. Pristine condition and mine-fresh, - guaranteed totally untreated of course and showing some white chalky deposits on the reverse with minor Kunzites too. From the Dara-i-Pech pegmatite field, Konar Province, Afghanistan.
The main termination shows exquisite minor detail in self-faceting and a sprinkling of micro druzy Kunzite and Calcite.
The main crystal is window clear except for a few very subtle chevron veils, and - as with all Spodumene crystals - the crystal shows very intensified colour along the vertical axis.
